12 14 651 Replace the pressure sensor on the charge air duct (N54T, N55)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Read out the fault memory of the DME control unit.
- Switch off ignition.
- N54T only:
Remove INTAKE SILENCER HOUSING .
- Only E82, E88 with N54T engine:
Release the SOUND GENERATOR and set aside.
NOTE:
The installation location of the pressure sensor is at the rear end of the charge air duct.
Unlock connector (1) and remove.
Release screws and pull pressure sensor (2) out of charge air duct.
Tightening torque 13 62 2AZ .
Installation note:
Check sealing ring for damage, replace if necessary.
When installing, coat sealing ring with suitable lubricant.
NOTE:
Reassemble the vehicle.
Check stored fault messages.
Delete fault memory.
Check stored fault messages.
Delete fault memory.
