51 37 000 Removing and installing/replacing complete rear left or right power window unit

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove LOWER SECTION OF SIDE TRIM AT REAR .
• Remove OUTER WINDOW CAVITY COVER STRIP .
• Remove INNER WINDOW CAVITY COVER STRIP .

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 37 4AZ .

Release or feed out cable holders (2) and remove connecting bracket (3) towards top.

Release screw (1).

Tightening torque 51 37 3AZ .

Release trim (1) from catches (2) and remove.

Carefully feed out power window unit (3) in upward direction.

Disconnect associated plug connection and remove complete power window unit (3).

Installation: 

Ensure trim (1) is correctly seated.

Replacement: 

• Modify REAR SIDE WINDOW .
• Modify FLAT MOTOR FOR POWER WINDOW UNIT .
