Condition for fault identification

Test condition:

The fault is recognized when the signal from the post-catalyst oxygen sensor 2 exceeds 0.898 V during moderate vehicle operation.

Potential problem source(s):

• Collateral fault
• Defective wiring harness
• Leak in exhaust system
• Pre-catalyst or post-catalyst oxygen sensor is defective
• Defective DME

  Temperature condition:

• None

  Time condition:

• None

  Other conditions:

• Drive at 50 - 80 km/h and moderate RPM
• No additional diagnostic fault codes logged
