Condition for fault identification

Test condition:

The fault is recognized when the voltage of the oxygen sensor 2 behind the catalytic converter is below 0.2 V (too lean).

Potential problem source(s):

Oxygen sensor 2 behind catalytic converter defective

• Leak in exhaust system upstream of oxygen sensor 2 behind catalytic converter
• Defect in wiring harness to oxygen sensor 2 behind catalytic converter

  Voltage condition:

  Temperature condition:

• Engine temperature > 85 °C

  Time condition:

• None

  Other conditions:

• Engine on
