61 31 040 Removing and installing/replacing switch for windscreen wipers
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Disconnect battery negative lead .
- Remove airbag unit . See STEERING WHEEL FOR AIRBAG .
- Remove steering wheel . See STEERING WHEEL FOR AIRBAG .
- Remove front section of steering column trim . See 32 31 010 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FRONT SECTION OF STEERING COLUMN COVER .
Release screws (1) and remove windshield wiper switch (2) towards rear.
