1.) Measure actual rail pressure and compare with the pressure indicated by the high pressure sensor (BMW Tester) 2.) If the measured rail pressure deviates from the pressure indicated by the DME -> Replace high pressure sensor 3.) Run plausibility check on high pressure sensor signal based on specification data 4.) If the pressure supplied by the pump fails to match the specification data, replace the pump
