1362628 Replace the temperature sensor after the oxidation catalytic converter (M57T2 with selective catalytic reduction)

IMPORTANT: Ensure adequate ventilation in the workbay!
Avoid skin contact (wear gloves)!
Avoid eye contact (safety goggles)!
Urea/water mixture can escape when components carrying urea/water mixture are released. Have a collecting vessel ready.
Observe country-specific waste disposal regulations.

Necessary preliminary work 

IMPORTANT: Risk of burning!
Only perform this repair work on an engine that has cooled down.

Unlock connector (1) and remove.

Release connector from holder.

Release cable from clamps.

Release temperature sensor (1).

Installation note: 

Tightening torque 18 31 3AZ .

Reassemble the vehicle.

After the repair work has been completed:

Use the BMW diagnosis system to adjust the selective catalytic reduction.
