Repair procedures (plant/service)
- Check: Sum of throttle valve voltages must equal 5 V
- Perform electrical check on wires to throttle valve sensors, visual inspection of plug-in terminals (at components, wiring harness and DME)
- Check to determine whether objects that could physically prevent the throttle valve from closing are present in the intake manifold or throttle valve
- Replace component
