Removal & Installation

NOTE: Use special tool (32 3 110) to disengage lock (1). Lock cylinder can be removed. If necessary, turn special tool in hole. See Fig 1 .
  1. Detach instrument panel trim. See Figure .
  2. With ignition lock key, turn lock barrel to position "R" (radio, windshield wipers, etc.). Press special tool (32 3 110) into locking cylinder hole and remove locking cylinder. See Fig 2 .
  3. Press lock and detach plug. Remove rubber ring (1). See Fig 3 .
  4. Clamp lock cylinder with plastic jaws in vise. Lever off ring antenna with special tool (61 3 300). See Fig 4 .
  5. To install, reverse removal procedure.
