65 75 551 Removing and installing/replacing tilt sensor

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Cars without CD changer and navigation system only:

Remove rear storage box, Refer to 51 16 240 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR STORAGE COMPARTMENT
Cars with CD changer and/or navigation system only:
Remove panel for rear storage box, refer to 51 16 235 REMOVING AND INSTALLING PANEL FOR REAR STORAGE BOX
Remove right rear speaker trim, refer to 65 12 020 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING SPEAKER (WOOFER IN SIDE TRIM PANEL)

Cars with CD changer and/or navigation system only:

Release screws (1) and pull back panel (2) in lower section a little.

All models:

Unscrew nuts (1).

Feed out tilt alarm sensor (3) with holder.

Disconnect plug connection (2).

If necessary, detach holder from tilt alarm sensor.
