64 11 377 Removing And Installing (Replacing) Control Panel For Heater - A/C System

Special tools required:

00 9 317

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove radio receiver. Refer to 51 45... REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING RADIO CUTOUT TRIM and 65 11 080 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING RADIO RECEIVER .

Lever out cover (1) with special tool 00 9 317 and remove.

Installation:

Make sure cover (1) is correctly seated.

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Loosen screws (2).

IMPORTANT: To avoid scratches:

Cover center console with a protective cover (1).
Remove heater - A/C system control panel (2) carefully through opening (B).

Press out heater - A/C system control panel (2) in direction of arrow (A) and remove through opening (B).

Replacement:

Carry out coding/programming.

Observe following IDC specifications:
