54 34 210 Removing and installing/replacing tension cable

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove convertible top fabric at front up to main support (without last bow) (without convertible top removal). See 54 34 120 Replacing Convertible Top Fabric .
Drill out rivet joint (1) from rear tension cable bearing on left/right.
Release screw (2).
Remove tension cable from cable.
Feed tension cable out of fabric towards front.
Installation:
Use a pull-in aid (e.g. welding wire).
Replace shims.
