Removal & Installation

NOTE: Observe installation position of rubber mount in axle carrier. See Fig 1 .

Remove axle carrier assembly. See AXLE CARRIER ASSEMBLY .
Pull out rubber mount using special tool (00 8 550 and 33 3 107/111). See Fig 2 . If necessary, heat axle carrier with an industrial hot air blower.

NOTE: Only use rubber mounts of one single manufacturer.

Coat NEW rubber mount with Circolight. Pull in with special tool (33 3 103/104/112/115). See Fig 3 .
Install axle carrier assembly. See AXLE CARRIER ASSEMBLY .
