65 12 072 Removing and installing (replacing) amplifier (Top hi-fi system)

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Partially remove luggage compartment wheel arch trim on left. Refer to 51 47 151 REMOVING AND INSTALLING / LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH TRIM .

NOTE: Follow instructions for handling optical fibers. Refer to 61 00 ... NOTES ON HANDLING OPTICAL FIBERS .

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Pull out retaining plates (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation:

Make retaining plates (2) are correctly seated.

Remove amplifier (3) from holder (4).

Replacement:

Carry out programming/coding. Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROGRAMMING/CODING .
