61 12 270 Replacing wiring harness on left or right front seat (comfort seat)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove front head restraint . See SEATS - REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS .
Remove outer cover on front seat . See SEATS - REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS .
Remove front seat . See SEATS - REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS .
Remove inner cover on front seat . See SEATS - REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS .
Remove rear panel on front seat backrest . See SEATS - REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS .

Disconnect all plug connections (1).

Release cable tie (2).

Removing wiring harness.

Unhook seat fabric at retaining points (1).

Lever out clip (2).

Fold back seat fabric.

Unhook backrest fabric at retaining points (3).

Fold back backrest fabric.

Disconnect all plug connections (1).

Release cable tie (2).

Removing wiring harness.

Installation:

Make sure wiring harness is correctly laid.
