51 21 280 Removing And Installing Or Replacing Door Brake On Left Or Right Front Door

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Close door windows
Detach door brake from door pillar . See 51 21 ... RELEASING DOOR RETAINER FROM LEFT OR RIGHT DOOR PILLAR
Remove function carrier . See 51 21 035 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FUNCTION CARRIER ON LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT DOOR .

Release screw (1) and remove door brake (2).

If necessary, detach seal (1).
