Master Cylinder: Removal

- Suck brake fluid out of expansion tank with a suction device used exclusively for drawing off brake fluid.
- Remove brake fluid expansion tank. See BRAKE EXPANSION TANK . Remove Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) pressure sensors "H" and "V". See PRESSURE SENSOR "H" and PRESSURE SENSOR "V" .
- Disconnect all hydraulic lines from master cylinder (1). Close off brake lines and master brake cylinder using appropriate seal plugs.
- Remove hex nuts (2). Remove brake master cylinder (3) from brake booster (4). See Fig 1 .
