Master Cylinder: Installation

Replace "O" ring. See Fig 1 . Install master brake cylinder to brake unit. When inserting the brake master cylinder (2) into the brake booster (1), make sure the pressure rod of the brake booster (1) and that of the brake master cylinder (2) are on one level. Replace self-locking nuts and tighten to specification. See Fig 2 . See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
Attach and tighten screw connections of brake lines and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
Push expansion tank vertically onto master brake cylinder.
Refill brake fluid and bleed system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM .
