Parking Brake Breaking In Procedure While Driving

CAUTION: It is best to perform this procedure on company property or an unused road. Be sure parking brake is adjusted uniformly.
  1. Drive car to 25 MPH and apply parking brake lever until braking action can be felt.
  2. Pull up parking brake lever into next notch and drive for about .3 mile.
  3. Release parking brake and allow brake to cool down. Repeat procedure, if necessary.
