11 72 194 Removing and Installing/Replacing Left Secondary Pipe (N73)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Disconnect air connection (1) on secondary valve.

Unscrew bolt (2).

Remove secondary valve (3).

Detach high-pressure line (4). See 13 53 175 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING ALL PRESSURE LINES (N73)

Tightening torque: 13 53 2AZ . See13 53 FUEL INJECTION NOZZLES AND PIPES

Release screw (7) and place solenoid valve (5) to one side.

Unscrew bolt (8).

Release secondary pipe (9) and lay to one side.

Installation:

Fit secondary pipe and secondary valve without gaps.

Detach fuel lines (1) from holder (2).

Press fuel line (1) downwards.

IMPORTANT: Press fuel lines (1) downwards carefully, risk of damage  .

Release screw (1), twist oil guide tube (2) and lift out.

Installation: 

Replace sealing ring on guide tube.

Apply light coat of oil to seal.

Tightening torque: 11 43 1AZ. See 11 43 GUIDE TUBE, DIPSTICK

IMPORTANT: Pay attention to routing of B+ lead.
The secondary pipe can only be removed if the oil guide tube is removed.

Assemble engine.
