Removal & Installation

- Remove lower section of microfilter housing. See MICROFILTER HOUSING LOWER SECTION .
- Suck brake fluid out of expansion tank. Use a suction bottle or syringe which is used exclusively for brake fluid. Do NOT reuse drawn out brake fluid.
- Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect. See Fig 1. Release retaining screw (2). Pull expansion tank vertically out of brake master cylinder.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Check rubber plug in brake master cylinder for damage. Replace if necessary. Press expansion tank vertically onto brake master cylinder.
- Fill expansion tank with new brake fluid.
