Removal & Installation

Remove pipe to be replaced. Brake pipes are only supplied in straight version and correct length with connecting nipple. New brake lines are bent into shape with Bending Tool (34 5 100). See Fig 1. Removed brake pipes can be used as templates for bending. Observe the following:
- Protective coating of brake line must not be damaged during bending.
- Do not kink or bend back brake pipes.
- Watch distances from rigid and moveable vehicle parts. Brake pipes must not make contact or rub.
- Tighten couplings to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
