65 50 011 Removing and Installing (Replacing) Video Module For On-Board Monitor

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Disconnect battery negative lead . See 12 00... INSTRUCTIONS FOR DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY
Remove luggage compartment wheel arch trim on left. See 51 47 151 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH TRIM

NOTE: Follow instructions for handling optical fibers. See 61 00... NOTES ON HANDLING OPTICAL FIBERS

Release screws (1).

Pull holder (2) with devices forwards slightly in direction of arrow.

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Installation:

Do not mix up antenna connectors (2).

Mark antenna plugs (2) and disconnect.

Release screws (3).

Feed video module for on-board monitor (4) out of holder (5) and remove.

Replacement:

Carry out programming/coding using BMW scan tool.
