61 13 042 Replacing Distribution Box (Luggage Compartment)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Disconnect battery negative lead . See 61 20 900 DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD .
- Remove flap in luggage compartment panel on right . See 51 47 172 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FLAP IN LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM, LEFT OR RIGHT .
Release expansion rivet (1).
Remove insulating mat (2).
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release bolts (2).
Disengage distribution box in direction of arrow.
Disengage emergency actuator (3).
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Remove distribution box.
Replacement:
Remove fuses and relays.
