22 32 050 Replacing Cross-Member For Transmission Mounting

Special Tools Required: 

Supporting Transmission: 

Support with special tools 23 4 050, 23 0 132 and 00 2 030 00 2 030 UNIVERSAL HYDRO-LIFTER BASIC UNIT .

Secure transmission with tensioning strap (1).

Tasks are described in TRANSMISSION BRACKET .

Release screws.

Tightening torque 22 32 4AZ22 32 TRANSMISSION MOUNTS .

Release screw (1).

Tightening torque 22 32 5AZ22 32 TRANSMISSION MOUNTS .

Remove cross-member.

• Remove underbody protection51 47 491 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REAR UNDERBODY PROTECTION
• Remove heat shields
• Remove exhaust system18 00 020 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COMPLETE EXHAUST SYSTEM (N62TU) .
