17 11 031 Replacing fan cowl (M62/M54)

M54 Only:

Lever out expansion rivets (1).

Remove intake hood (2).

M62, M54:

Remove fan impeller with fan clutch. Refer to 11 52 020 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FAN CLUTCH (S52/S54/M52/M52TU/M54/M56) .

Detach plug (1) from AUC sensor.

Unlock plug connection (2) and unclip cable.

Lever out expansion rivets (1).

Remove fan cowl towards top.

Installation:

Attach lugs (1) to holders on radiator.
