41 12 535 Replacing Complete Luggage Compartment Floor Stripping Operations (Tail Panel Removed)

The following list basically represents the removal sequence.

- Remove exhaust system (job number: 1800020)
- Remove heat shield
- Remove air supply system (job number: 37 22 540)
- Remove rear left and right wheel arch cover (job number: 51 71 041)
- Remove positive battery cable (job number: 61 12 002)
- Partially detach wiring harness and lay to one side
Release nuts for sealing flange connection (1).
Remove sealing flange connection with positive battery cables (2) and set aside.
Installation note:
Make sure gasket is correctly installed. (watertightness).
Replace gasket if necessary.
Replace M5 nuts for sealing flange connection.
IMPORTANT:
Risk of damage!
