52 26 015 Removing and installing/replacing left/right rear seat backrest (through-loading)

Necessary preliminary tasks

Remove ARMREST SIDE SECTION .
If necessary, partially remove REAR SEAT (only with seat heating optional extra).

For seat heating optional extra only:

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Left backrest:

Release screw (1).
Tightening torque 52 26 04AZ .
With automatic center belt optional extra only:
Lay belt (2) around center armrest
Fold backrest forwards slightly (3)
Pull backrest forwards and outwards out of center mount (4)

Right backrest:

Release screw (1) with short Torx socket T55

Tightening torque 52 26 04AZ .
Fold backrest forwards slightly (2)
Pull backrest forwards and outwards out of center mount (3)
