54 13 100 Removing and installing/replacing water channel

3-D ANIMATION OF GLASS SLIDE/TILT SUNROOF COVER MECHANISM (STEP 1) .

Necessary preliminary tasks

Remove GLASS SLIDE/TILT SUNROOF COVER AT REAR .

Unclip water channel (1) in direction of arrow (A) and lift off in direction of arrow (B).

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage to water gutter carrier.

Carefully unclip water gutter (1) upwards out of carrier (2).

Installation note:

Insert spring (arrow) onto water channel pivot point.

Make sure spring is correctly positioned in water gutter.

Installation note:

Before clipping in place, fold water channel (1) over in direction of arrow.

Installation note:

Observe installation sequence:

Suspend spring in water gutter carrier
Press water gutter onto glass slide/tilt sunroof
Clip pivot point (bearing) of water gutter into carrier

Check water gutter for spring tension.
