51 24 080 Removing and installing/replacing drive for rear lid lock

Necessary preliminary tasks

Remove TRIM FOR REAR LID LOWER SECTION .

Security vehicles:

Remove rear lid lower section armour-plating.

Lever out cover (1), release screw underneath and remove handle (2).

Lever out cover (3) and release screw underneath.

Installation:

If necessary, replace faulty drives (1 and 2).

Disconnect Bowden cable (1 and 2).

Release screws (1) and feed out drive (2).

Tightening torque 51 24 6AZ .
