16 12 001 Removing and installing/replacing fuel level sensor for fuel gauge

Draw off fuel from fuel tank. Refer to 16 00 005 Draining and filling fuel tank .

Remove screw cap with seal. Refer to 16 11 ... Removing and installing/replacing screw cap with rubber seal .

Press lock (1).

Pull fuel level sensor for fuel gauge (2) upwards.

Unfasten plug connections (3) and disconnect.

CAUTION: During installation, check that plug connections (1) are correctly seated.
Pull cable loop (2) until small and press towards rear.
