51 71 372 Removing and installing/replacing both tension struts on spring strut domes

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove equipment compartment partition walls, see 51 71... Removing and installing/replacing assembly compartment partition wall .
Release screws (1).
Remove tension strut (2).
IMPORTANT:
To ensure a correct ground connection, use only BMW genuine spare parts. Thread repairs on bulkhead mounting bracket are not permitted.
Tightening torque 51 71 2AZ , see 51 71 SEALS AND LOOSE BODY PARTS .
Replace screws.
