61 14 010 Removing and installing/replacing distribution box (on battery)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Disconnect battery negative lead
Additionally E70 Security (optional extra SA 106):
- Disconnect Security battery positive lead
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Open cover, release nut (3) underneath and disconnect battery positive lead. Tightening torque, see 61 21 4AZ in 61 21 BATTERY WITH TERMINAL .
Open cover (5) and release nut (4). Tightening torque, see 61 21 2AZ in 61 21 BATTERY WITH TERMINAL .
Using a suitable tool, expand locking bracket (6) at lower end and clip out.
Lift distribution box (2) out of battery.
