18 32 605 Removing And Installing/Replacing Both Connecting Pipes On Catalytic Converter (N63)

Only perform this work after engine has cooled down.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove exhaust system . See 18 00 020 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COMPLETE EXHAUST SYSTEM (N63) .

NOTE: Texts refer to and illustrations show the left side. The procedure is identical for the right side.

Release nuts (1).

Tightening torque. See 18 31 2AZ in 18 31 EXHAUST SYSTEM .

Installation:

Remove seal.

Clean sealing faces.

Replace seal.
