51 43 148 Removing And Installing Or Replacing Trim On Left Or Right Door Pillar (Top)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove panel for door pillar (bottom)  . See 51 43 150 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING TRIM FOR LEFT OR RIGHT DOOR PILLAR (BOTTOM) .

Detach mucket (1) in area of panel (2).

Pull off panel (2) towards bottom.

Complete removal only: 

Release belt screw on front seat.

Feed out belt strap (3) from trim (2).

Installation: 

Guides (1) and clips (2) on trim (3) must not be damaged.
