51 13 116 Removing And Installing/Replacing Cowl Panel Cover

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove both windscreen wiper arms  . See 61 61 081 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT OR RIGHT WINDSCREEN WIPER ARM .
• Remove both microfilter housing covers  . See 64 31 101 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT MICROFILTER HOUSING COVER or 64 31 106 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING RIGHT MICROFILTER HOUSING COVER .

Release clips (1).

Feed out cover (2) towards top.

Installation: 

If necessary, replace faulty clips (1) and associated grommets in body.

Installation: 

Make sure grommets (1) are correctly seated on wiper pivots.

Grommets (1) for wiper pivots must not be damaged.

Installation: 

Cowl panel cover (1) must be correctly guided on right and left under windscreen cover (2).
