51 34 211 Replacing Rubber Guide For Rear Left Or Right Door Window

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove cover on inside of door window frame  . See 51 34 160 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING HOUSING COVER ON INNER LEFT OR RIGHT DOOR WINDOW FRAME .
• Remove inner window cavity cover strip  . See 51 2. ... REMOVING WINDOW CAVITY COVER STRIP WITH SPECIAL TOOL 00 9 324 AT FRONT OR REAR .

Pull rubber guide (1) at side out of window guides.

Feed rubber guide (1) at top out of window frame.

Installation: 

Moisten rubber guide (1) with water before fitting at side.

If necessary, retract door window glass approx. 50 mm into rubber guide (1).

Open door window glass and at same time slide rubber guide (1) downwards.

Installation: 

Seal (1) must not be damaged or missing.
