Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Clamp off battery negative lead . See 61 20 900 DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD .
- Remove center console switch center . See 61 31 054 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING CENTRE CONSOLE SWITCH CLUSTER (WITH CCC/ASK) .
NOTE:
Comply with notes and instructions on handling optical waveguides

Release bolts (1).
Pull back Car Communication Computer (2) slightly.
Unlock associated plug connections and disconnect.
Remove Car Communication Computer (2).
Replacement:
Carry out programming/coding .
