- Clear fault memory
- Read analog data with SGBD and compare with current barometric pressure - Important: pumg is not calibrated to sea level, but to actual pressure, that is, starting with roughly 1000 hPa at sea level there is a continuous pressure drop of roughly 10mbar for every 100 meters of altitude.
- If still defective - with relation to deviation between DME barometric pressure and actual barometric pressure - replace DME as indicated
