31 10 010 Removing and installing/replacing reinforcement plate

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove underbody protective plate

Release screws (1) and remove reinforcement plate.

Installation: 

Replace screws and insertion nuts.

Tightening torque 31 10 9AZ. See FRONT AXLE - TIGHTENING TORQUES -- 650I

Replacement: 

If applicable, remove heat shield.
