Spring Strut Shock Absorber: Notes

CAUTION:
When being clamped in the upper and lower spring holders, the spring coils must be completely inserted in the recess. Only compress coil springs until strain on support bearing is relieved. The coils must not be fully tensioned. Under no circumstances should the special tool be extended to such an extent that the spring retainers make contact with lower spring plate, upper winding or support bearing. Failure to comply can damage the special tool and/or the coil spring.
