Power Steering Vane Pump: Removal

  1. Draw hydraulic fluid out of tank. Do not re-use.
  2. Remove engine underguard.
  3. Remove drive belt.
  4. Disconnect hydraulic lines from steering pump. See Fig 1.
  5. On vehicles without ARS, unfasten nut (2). See Fig 2.
  6. On vehicles with ARS, unfasten nut (2). See Fig 3.
  7. On all vehicles, unfasten screws and remove pump. See Fig 4.
