63 99 401 Replacing bulb for left or right license-plate light

Follow instructions for handling light bulbs (exterior lights). Refer to 63 99... INSTRUCTIONS FOR HANDLING LIGHT BULBS (EXTERIOR LIGHTS) .
Remove cover in luggage compartment lid. Refer to 63 21 186 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REAR LIGHT (ON CENTRE OF REAR LID) .
Pull out bulb holder for license place light (1) in direction of arrow.
Remove bulb for license plate light from bulb holder for license place light (1).
