61 31 040 Removing and installing/replacing stalk for windshield wipers

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove front section of steering column cover. Refer to STEERING COLUMN COVER UPPER SECTION .

Release screws (1).

Remove windshield wiper switch (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation:

Seat windshield wiper switch (2) with integrated pin housing (1) exactly in fixture for steering column control.
