51 32 420 Removing and installing/replacing trim on front door window frame, left or right

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove front window cavity cover strip, refer to 51 21 302 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING CHROME STRIP FOR WINDOW CAVITY COVER STRIP (ON OUTSIDE OF FRONT DOOR)

Partially detach rubber window seal (1) at rear.

Installation:

Coat rubber window seal (1) with water before fitting.

Release screws (1).

Press trim (2) towards rear and lever out sideways.

Remove trim (1) towards top.

Installation:

If necessary, replace faulty plastic nuts (1).
