Draining coolant:

Open cap (1) on coolant expansion tank.

Remove front splash guard.

Drain, catch and dispose of coolant from radiator.

Remove reinforcement plate.

Installation:

Replace screws and captive nuts. Tighten screws to 56 Nm with a torque angle of 90°.

Open drain plug (1) on engine block.

Drain, catch and dispose of coolant.

Installation:

Replace sealing ring.

Tightening torque, 11 11 5AZ. Refer to ENGINE - TIGHTENING TORQUES .
