65 12 070 Removing and installing/replacing amplifier (hi-fi system)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Take out trunk floor trim panel. Refer to 51 47 101 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR TRIM(S) .
Disconnect and cover battery negative lead. Refer to 12 00... INSTRUCTIONS FOR DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY .

NOTE: If necessary, remove tool bag.

Unscrew bolt (1).

Take off holder (2).

Raise amplifier (3) a little.

Unfasten plug connection (4) and disconnect.

Remove amplifier (3) in direction of arrow.
