65 81 060 Removing and installing/replacing external temperature sensor

NOTE: Front wheel removed for purposes of clarity.

Unlock fasteners (1) by turning counterclockwise through 180° and fold up cover (2) in direction of arrow.

Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Unclip outside temperature sensor (2) in direction of arrow from cover (3).

Installation:

Make sure outside temperature sensor (2) is engaged in cover (3).
