63 25 000 Removing and installing/replacing additional stop light

Open trunk lid.

Loosen screws (1).

Feed out cover (2) in direction of arrow, unlock plug connection of auxiliary brake light behind it and disconnect.

Pay attention to springs underneath when releasing nuts (3).

Installation:

Tightening sequence of screws:

Middle
Outer

Tightening torque is 2-3 N.m.

Pull auxiliary brake light (1) in direction of arrow out of rear lid (2) and remove.

Installation:

Make sure auxiliary brake light seal is correctly seated. If necessary, replace auxiliary brake light seal.
