61 31 798 Removing and installing/replacing sensor on left convertible top catch

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove trim on convertible top catch. See 54 34 125 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRIM ON CONVERTIBLE TOP CATCH .
- Remove cover. See 54 34 159 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT CONVERTIBLE TOP LATCH .
Unlock plug (1) and detach from housing (2).
Unlock housing (2) and detach in direction of arrow from plug connection (3).
Release screws (1).
Remove two-part sensor (2) from convertible top catch (3).
Installation:
Note different cable lengths of two-part sensor (2).
